Born 1954 Feb 9th ..Aquarian with twin brother Gavin (same birthday)
Started playing guitar at around five or six.
Invited to play bass in newly formed rock and blues band, Jesus Lizard , at 15 while at school. Heavily influenced by the members and started learning about blues progressions, dominant, subdominant and tonic , turn arounds, twelve bars , minor, major and seventh scales etc etc as well as rock music from the early 70’s including Santana, Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton Genesis, Bob Dylan Creedence, the Stones etc later moved on to playing rhythm guitar briefly for the same band but one or two member changes..
Met my wife around this time and put music aside and concentrated on building an ocean going sailboat.
